Gimre's Shoes, Inc. (dba New Balance Portland) Web Site Shipping Policy - For New Balance Portland web site orders, our standard shipping method within the continental United States is UPS Ground. We will ship only to street addresses unless you live in an area without local postal service, but shipping to a PO Box will be discretionary on our part. If you are unable to receive UPS shipments as a street address, we may be able to ship via USPS Priority Mail or Parcel Post, please contact us to determine shipping and insurance costs, if this is necessary. Orders shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, Guam, Puerto Rico and APO/FPO may be sent USPS Priority Mail. Domestic (continental US) UPS Ground - Prompt, dependable, low-cost ground delivery makes UPS Ground an excellent choice. Service Availability: Available in all 50 states and Puerto Rico. Orders shipping UPS Ground will typically arrive 2 to 7 working days from the day the order is shipped. UPS 3 Day Select® - The smart choice for time-sensitive packages on a cost-sensitive budget. UPS 3 Day Select® offers the ideal mix of economy and reliable delivery, guaranteed by the third business day, combined with up-to-the minute tracking, to and from every U.S. address in the 48 contiguous states. Service Availability: Available in the U.S. in the 48 contiguous states. Orders shipping UPS 3 Day Select® will arrive by the end of the third business day from the day the order is shipped. UPS 2nd Day Air - An economical alternative for time-sensitive shipments that do not require overnight delivery. UPS 2nd Day Air offers the ideal mix of economy and reliable delivery, guaranteed by the second business day, combined with up-to-the minute tracking, to all 50 states and Puerto Rico. Service Availability: Available throughout the U.S. and Puerto Rico, not available for intra-Alaska shipments. Orders shipping UPS 2nd Day Air will arrive by the end of the second business day from the day the order is shipped. Deliveries to certain locations in Alaska may require additional time in transit. Not available for intra-Alaska shipments.

 

SHIPPING NOTE Upgrading to 2nd Day Air or 3 Day Select® DOES NOT mean that you will receive the order in 1 to 2 days from when you placed the order. The order typically will arrive in the specified time AFTER the order leaves our warehouse. It is our intent to promptly fulfill your order, however the time of day the order is placed will affect the shipment date. We make every effort to maintain sufficient stocks of all merchandise to promptly fulfill your order, but occasionally this is not possible. Please note the above shipping times for each shipping method. If your actual shipment time is expected to exceed those given above, we will notify you by email. Domestic (Alaska, Hawaii, Guam, Puerto Rico and AFO/FPO) USPS Priority Mail: $17.50 per order, per address. Orders shipping USPS Priority Mail will typically arrive 5 to 7 working days from the day the order is shipped. International Orders At this time, manufacturer policies restrict us from fulfilling orders for current model products to shipping addresses outside of the United States and its territories. As a result, we do not have the authority to service international customers with current model products. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

 

Return, Exchange and Refund Policy - Footwear is a tough item to buy when purchased over the internet. You can't touch and feel the shoe, you can't try it on and compare the feel amongst other items at the same time. We'll always urge you to come into one of our stores if possible, but sometimes that can't be done. We understand the problems of internet purchases and we want to make yours as comfortable as possible. But at the same time, we have to set up some ground rules. Satisfaction Guaranteed at New Balance Portland - New Balance Portland is committed to your complete satisfaction! Once your new shoes or apparel arrive, try them on; check them for proper fit, comfort, style and function. If you are not totally satisfied with the fit and comfort of your new shoes or apparel, we will cheerfully exchange them or provide you with a full refund... If you are not totally satisfied with the style or functionality of your new shoes or apparel, we will cheerfully exchange them or provide you with a full refund. Requirements - Returns, Exchanges and Refunds - All returns to New Balance Portland must be sent prepaid. We will not accept any COD shipments. Only shoes and apparel returned within 30 days of the purchase date, in the original box, with a copy of the original New Balance Portland receipt, will eligible for a full refund. Any shoes or apparel returned after 30 days, if accepted, will incur a 10% restocking fee. All merchandise must be returned in new condition to be eligible for exchange or refund, unless we determine them to be defective. Worn shoes can be accepted for return only if there is a problem due to a manufacturing defect. New Balance Portland adult shoes are guaranteed to be free of defects for a period of 90 days from date of purchase. Kids shoes are guaranteed for 60 days from date of purchase. Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility, however New Balance Portland will pay for shipping out the replacement merchandise at no charge to you. We can only accept returns of, or refund purchases made from New Balance Portland.  We cannot accept returns of, or refund purchases made at other internet sites or other stores. Return Authorization - We will issue you a return authorization number. Make sure it is clearly legible on the outside of the shipping package. Shipments without a valid return authorization number will not be accepted. Ship to us - Ship the package to us, via regular ground freight, UPS or RPS, or USPS. Do not ship COD, we will not accept any COD shipments. If we determine that a freight reimbursement is necessary, we will reimburse you for standard ground rates. We cannot reimburse for any shipping charges beyond regular ground rates. Upon receipt of the item, we will determine how best to resolve the situation, and we will contact you. We will respond as soon as possible. Please allow adequate time for freight delivery. Shipping methods and prices, as well as returns, exchange and refund terms and conditions, are subject to change without notice, however we will always endeavor to provide the best shipping value and services to our customers.
